1. What is Silhouette InstaLift thread?
Silhouette InstaLift thread is the product designed for face thread lifting and is approved by Health Canada and FDA. Each thread is composed of 8 to 12 tiny bi-directional cones made of a biocompatible material called polylactic acid (PLA).
2. What does the procedure involve?
The procedure involves inserting the threads into the skin using a needle. These cones are then used to lift and suspend the skin and underlying tissues, resulting in a lifted appearance.
3. What are the post treatment instructions?
After the Silhouette InstaLift procedure, you may experience some mild swelling, bruising, or discomfort in the treated area. Here are some general post-care instructions to follow:
- Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for the first few hours after the procedure.
- Apply a cool compress to the treated area for 10-15 minutes at a time, several times a day for the first 48 hours, to help reduce swelling and discomfort.
- Avoid strenuous exercise or activities that increase blood flow to the face for the first 24 hours after the procedure.
- Avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, and extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for the first few days after the procedure.
- Use gentle skincare products and avoid exfoliating or using abrasive scrubs on the treated area for at least 24 hours after the procedure.
- Avoid sleeping on your face for the first few nights after the procedure.
- Follow up with your healthcare provider for any necessary touch-up treatments or additional injections.
